Disc 2 contains Chris Cornell's original demos he recorded after Andrew Woods death, and it shows the brilliant work he had done all by himself on the songs before this gesture became a full album.
But even before the 2nd Disc, the expanded artwork with lyrics, and liner notes that tell the story about that short period in 1990 when just for a minute Temple of the Dog were a band.
And before all that, Brendan O'Briens 25th Anniversary mix of the full album brings these songs out in a new light. The new crisp, clean spound, has Cornell's voice soaring like never before. And at the top of it all is track 11: the Alternate Mix of "Say Hello to Heaven" is so incredible that i can not stop playing it over and over, and over. I like to think that somewhere up there Chris and Andy are together again, and smiling down upon all who enter the Temple of the Dog....
